The arrangements of the kitchen and dining room are dominated and will continue to dominate modern minimalism. What does it mean?We are talking about geometric simplicity, the ascetic character of which is, however, effectively broken by, for example, carefully selected color or pattern, the contrast of strong gloss and deep matt, or a non-obvious arrangement of solids.Designers combine this arrangement - expressive, but timeless and rather universal in form - with the space of the living room and other parts of the living area of the apartment. They make sure that the functionality has a beautiful setting here. Thanks to this, the table and its surroundings can really become the heart of the home. The power of colors and patternsFor several years, the position of black and white - each separately and their duo - has been strengthening. Not so long ago, the hearts of Poles were conquered by (almost) white kitchens, and for some time all black ones have also been gaining popularity.Casual, elegant, modern arrangements are also often based on the contrast of these colors.Apart from that, grays do not go out of fashion, although recently they are warmer than before. This is due to the returning fashion for beiges and browns. These warm shades can be found, among othersin various types of wooden decors - from solid boards and veneers to quartz sinters faithfully imitating the beauty of wood (including L-Wood Noce and Legno Venezia by Laminam, offered in several color variants).Black and white in the most fashionable edition are the uniform surfaces of Collection Bianco and Nero Assoluto, but also marble patterns (the Laminam offer includes, among others, Bianco Statuario Venato, Statuarietto, Statuario Altissimo, Calacatta Oro Venato, Calacatta Michelangelo - in shades of white, and in black, among others In-Side Pietra Di Cardoso Nero or Noir Desir).White with black combines and additionally enriches with tones of gold this year's novelty from the Laminam brand - Naturali Gold Beauty sinter.Importantly, it is offered in the form of plates that can be laid in mirror images. In this way, an extremely stylish pattern can be created on the wall, on the fronts of buildings or on any other surface - like the following one, consisting of four panels in the ABAB system. It is worth emphasizing that quartz sinters, which bring patterns of wood, marble or concrete, combine the visual charm of these materials with previously unattainable utility advantages. They guarantee resistance, among othersfor scratches, bruises, spills and stains. Moreover, they have antibacterial properties and are food safe. They also allow you to easily keep the kitchen and dining room perfectly clean, even when there are small children at home or when the most exciting social life is taking place there. That is why sinters are recommended, among others, for those rooms where the highest utility values must be ensured. On the other hand - since Laminam products are offered in a wealth of as many as 150 models - sinters allow the implementation of aesthetic concepts until recently very difficult or even impossible. For example - it is difficult to introduce natural marble on furniture fronts. The brittleness of this stone makes it impossible to cut it into very thin slabs.Thicker ones, in turn, are a heavy load for the building structure, which must be properly strengthened. The solution was precisely sinters - a light material (from 8 kg / m2) thanks to which, among others, the elegance of marble or other amazing stone patterns can be successfully applied to the doors and faces of drawers, as well as to the sides of furniture, countertops, floors, walls and any other surfaces in the kitchen and dining room. Also those exposed to the greatest functional challenges. As mentioned at the beginning, the strong gloss - which has been reigning especially among kitchen fronts for a long time - today has a powerful competitor in the form of a deep mat.Quartz sinters achieve both of these effects.Let us add that while glossy surfaces are extremely good for stone patterns, matte ones are often an excellent choice for wood patterns (also bleached or patinated), concrete, and metal, for abstract motifs and smooth finishes - without clear patterns.Of course, neither in the kitchen nor in the dining room, the selected aspect - matte or gloss - does not have to have a visual monopoly.Contrary;the best looking interiors are both of these effects in equilibrium. In the case of kitchen furniture, a glossy tabletop can accompany matte bodies and fronts (or vice versa). In turn, in the dining room with a polished table top, made, for example, of a practical sinter imitating white marble, let the adjacent chairs covered with matt velvet or suede. From monolith to stripesOne of the most characteristic trends that have been taking root in the area of furniture constructions for several years - in the kitchen, but also in the dining room, living room and other rooms in the house - is the pursuit of the effect of monolithic solids.Sinters play a special role here, perfect for all surfaces, i.e. the body, worktops, and in the case of the kitchen, even a sink integrated with the worktop. On the other hand, modern minimalism eagerly breaks the unification tendency. How?There are probably as many ideas as there are designers, but the most popular solutions today include, among othersa high-rise recess (housing a sink, hob or worktop) completely lined with a different, contrasting sinter pattern. The idea taken from architecture is also very elegant: large, smooth surfaces are enlivened with a chosen rhythm of grooves - horizontal or vertical, small or wide, dense or rarely distributed. As you can see, there is a lot of room for individual project customization, even in this respect. What else will be fashionable in the kitchen and dining room?Modern minimalism removes many solutions from in front of the eyes.Hence - apart from integrated sinks - heating plates flush with the countertop and handle-free fronts (milled or opened by touch). On the other hand, advanced storage systems make the interior of the furniture much more spacious and much more comfortable in everyday use. Both of these purposes are also served by installing shallower cabinets (30 cm deep) low above the top, and deeper (60 cm) above the head. The use of the latter is facilitated, among others, byfronts tilted up and telescopically lowered shelves. The island does not lose an important position in modern apartments - it is important both in terms of functionality and composition. It often houses key household appliances (hob, fridge, oven), and very often it also has practical drawers and cabinets.Sometimes people sit down at her for breakfast. In many arrangements, a table adjoins it - as a symbolic border of the kitchen - which delimits the dining area in the living room. That is why it is so important that the island looks effective from every perspective (although it does not have to be the same on all sides). It is very easy to achieve any effect by sintering - both visually and technically. These are all the most important trends that the experts of the Laminam brand - an Italian manufacturer of quartz sinters - revealed before the opening of this year's fair in Milan. The next ones will be announced soon at Salone del Mobile. And we will not fail to write about it!The writer admits that during his voyage across the Atlantic, he repeatedly argued with Liroy about political issues, and there were also minor tensions with other participants. The added value of this trip, however, was the ability to communicate and work out a compromise.Without it, they would not have been able to reach the Guadeloupe coast safely. The entire trip, all experiences and interpersonal relationships not only give him food for thought, but can also be the basis for his next book. The actor recalls that when he found out that he had won the casting for this production, he felt joy, but he was also aware of a considerable challenge, especially since Krzysztof Lang is the director of the film.March '68 tells the story of the difficult love of two young people - Janek (played by Ignacy Liss) and Marta (Vanessa Aleksander) against the backdrop of the stormy events that took place in Warsaw that spring.Earlier, Liss delighted viewers with the role of Adam in the Netflix series "Open Your Eyes".He was also in the cast of such productions as: "Chyłka.Revision, "People and Gods," and "The Better Half."During the Russian bombings in Ukraine, not only houses are destroyed, but also cathedrals, museums and monuments. As the Ukrainian minister of culture, Oleksandr Tkachenko, emphasized, Russian soldiers were allowed to destroy the Ukrainian cultural heritage. That is why cities such as Lviv, Odessa and Kyiv started to protect the local monuments in the first days of the fighting, and museums took a whole series of measures to protect and save their collections. They are assisted by the Committee for Aid to Museums of Ukraine, which includes several dozen institutions from Poland. They collect materials for packing and preserving the collections as well as digital equipment so that they can digitize them in the event of their destruction or plunder. The first such transport has already been sent to Lviv, and more are being prepared.
