Tecumseh boys lacrosse thumps Ypsilanti Lincoln in SEC White play

TECUMSEH — The Tecumseh boys lacrosse team had four different goal scorers net hat tricks as it defeated Ypsilanti Lincoln in Southeastern Conference White Division play Monday, 18-5.

Sophomore Brennan Cornack scored seven goals and assisted another to lead the Tecumseh (5-8, 3-5 SEC White) offensive attack while junior Trace Tidswell netted five and had two assists. Senior Josh Swallow had three goals and two assists.

Freshman Cooper Barkway had the fourth hat trick of the game while junior Nolan White added an assist.

The win gives Tecumseh back-to-back wins for the second time this season and has won three of its last five games.

Tecumseh at Pinckney Quad: At Pinckney, Tecumseh traveled to Whispering Pines Golf Course where it picked up three SEC wins as it topped Jackson, 190-191, Ypsilanti, 190-286, and Pinckney, 190-190 with a Tecumseh earning the tiebreaker on the fifth scorer.

Freshman Grant Simpson led the team with a round of 45.

Lenawee Christian at Climax Scotts SCAA Jamboree: At Battle Creek, the Cougars took to Riverside Golf Club and won a South Central Athletic Association jamboree.

LCS shot a round of 185, besting second place Hillsdale Academy by 11 shots.

Brogan Winder shot a 44 to lead the Cougars while Connor Parisien shot 46, Parker Bell shot 47 and Lucas Day shot a 48.

Blissfield 4, Onsted 1: At Onsted, the Royals got the upper hand against their Lenawee County Athletic Association rival.

Avery Collins led Blissfield (5-6, 4-2 LCAA) as she scored a hat trick while Jillian Kepler had the fourth goal. Gillian Gray and June Miller each had an assist.

The Wildcats dropped to 4-6 on the season and 1-5 in the LCAA.

Clinton 8, HIllsdale 0: At Clinton, the Redwolves improved to 11-1 and remained perfect in the LCAA at 7-0.

Madalyn Freitas and Anna Schaffner each netted a hat trick while Aubrey Lauer had two goals and an assist

Zoey Sierer, Paige Shankland and Emily Haselschwerdt each had an assist.
