NEWS... BUT NOT AS YOU KNOW IT
South Park is celebrating its 25th anniversary in an utterly unique way.
It’s been 25 years since Trey Parker and Matt Stone’s absolutely bonkers comedy first hit our screens and made Cartman, Kyle, Kenny and Stan household names.
After 25 seasons, one brilliant feature-length film, video games and pandemic specials, South Park is celebrating the major milestone with a special concert.
As any South Park fan knows, the show is as revered for its musical numbers as it is its comedy, and the creators are combining the two with the upcoming 25th Anniversary Concert.
But when is the South Park 25th Anniversary Concert and how can you watch it in the UK?

The South Park 25th Anniversary Concert will air on Friday, 26 August.
However, it won’t be live – the major event was filmed on 9 and 10 August at the Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre in South Park’s home state of Colorado.
Fans in the UK can catch the concert for the first time at 11pm on Comedy Central UK, before it becomes available on Paramount+ UK from Saturday, 27 August.
Over the past 25 years, Trey Parker and Matt Stone have helped create some of the world’s catchiest – often R-rated – tunes.
From Kyle’s Mom to Uncle F***er and the Oscar-nominated Blame Canada, there are hours’ worth of absolute belters.
And, for the special concert, some of the best-loved ones have been transformed into orchestral masterpieces.

The Anniversary Concert will see Trey and Matt perform the songs from the acclaimed show’s 25 years.
And, as an added bonus, they will be joined by bands Primus – who wrote the theme song – and Ween, who penned track My Rainbow.
