By Focus Stone / August 24, 2022Print Email Porcelanosa has been the partner of Tamara Falcó for the creation of the kitchen of the ephemeral restaurant El Rincón, protagonist of the new Netflix docuseries “La Marquesa”.The series shows a stage in the life of Tamara Falcó, who introduces herself as an influencer. This stage runs from her fortieth birthday party to the "opening" of the pop-up restaurant "El Rincón", the property inherited from her father where cooking is one of the protagonists. The kitchen has been made with the large-format porcelain Xtone from Porcelanosa Group, and has involved months of work 'side by side' with the firm from Castellón.Kitchen area module.Xtone for countertops and wall tiles Among the color options of the Xtone large-format porcelain tile, the Calacatta Gold collection was chosen, forming four modules for the cooking area. The Paonazzo Biondo collection with three ''U''-shaped modules is the one that shines in the dessert area and, in the ''greenhouse'' area, the choice has been the Blue Roma collection, one of the latest novelties of the signature, which dresses two avant-garde and design tables.Tamara Falcó's itinerant restaurant project is divided into two areas: one for cooking and the other for desserts. Each of them with specific characteristics and for which a different material from the complete Xtone range has been chosen.Kitchen area configuration For the entire kitchen area, the material used is Calacatta Gold with a Nature finish, an elegant surface characterized by its luminous veining with distinguished golden details. In this kitchen area, four independent kitchen modules/islands have been developed with 12mm countertops, with mitered edges and a 4cm skirt. All the furniture has been covered with Xtone with a thickness of 6mm.For the presentation module, the island has a total of five plate warmers with dimensions of 3054cm x 904cm.The cooking module consists of hidden induction with three burners and a gas hob with five burners.Dimensions are 3054cm x 754cm.Kitchen assembly. Finally, Tamara Falcó's work table in El Rincón has a cooking and plating support module made up of three ovens with microwave function and dimensions of 3054cm x 754cm.The entire installation is completed with a washing module made up of two integrated sinks with dimensions of 3054cm x 904cm.Dessert area The dessert area has been made with Paonazzo Biondo color in Silk finish by Xtone. This material combines an elegant ivory façade and a combination of caramel, sage and merlot veining, interspersed with a flash of gold flecks.Dessert area. The dessert area has a “U” shaped volume (3252cm x 2552cm) so that the chef prepares the desserts within this area and the guests can see the preparation of the next to the dining room and has four high tables by Xtone Paonazzo Biondo in a Silk finish (60x60cm top, 110cm high) and with a black metal structure.High tables for guests. The guests will be able to Palacio de El Rincón was built in 1862 in the Madrid municipality of Aldea del Fresno by express order of Juan Manuel de Manzanedo y González, a Spanish banker who was appointed Duke of Santoña by Alfonso XII as a sign of gratitude to his support for the restoration of the Bourbons.During the Civil War it belonged to the Republican side until, years later, it became Franco's headquarters during the Battle of Brunete.Later it returned to be in the hands of José Mitjans y Murrieta, the great-grandson of the first owner of the fortress. He married Paloma Falcó y Escandón, the paternal aunt of Carlos Falcó, and, since they never had children, they decided to leave it as an inheritance to the V Marquis of Griñón, Tamara's father, who after his death left it to her as an inheritance.
