Lasa marble has been gently quarried underground in the Nationalpark Stilfserjoch \/ Parco Nazionale dello Stelvio.The company's quarries are located in an ecologically sensitive area of ​​the Stelvio National Park (Stilfserjoch National Park).The marble is transported by rail from the quarry at 1,560 m to the valley.The railway is a transportation structure that was built in 1930 and is still operational today, going directly to the factory.The Inclined Plane Railway (Brake Incline) in the middle part of the railway construction, builds a special technical artifact of cultural value, with which the white natural stone is transported in an environmentally friendly way from the quarries to the valley : and that even after more than 80 years of its construction.Some of the latest projects in which this marble has been used are WTC Transportation Hub New York, Isozaki Tower Milan or Capitol Crossing in Washington.The Lasa Marmo Ltd. factory facilities comprise an area of ​​approximately 55,000 square meters.It is located on the southern edge of the Lasa marble village.Since its construction, the factory has been the last part of the white marble extraction chain.There are about 4.2
