The list of interventions requested to ensure safety at the entrance to the complexesNew sidewalks, modifications to the roads, protected pedestrian paths. In anticipation of the start of the school year, Town Hall VII has drawn up a list of critical issues found at the entrance to the school complexes. And, for each of them, he hypothesized the solutions to be put in place. The schools in question are located on the outskirts of the town hall. Most of them are located outside the ring road, in some cases even on the border with the municipality of Frascati. It is from the parents and school administrators of these complexes that, according to the provision passed with the majority and opposition votes, most of the reports from the parents 'and school managers' committees arrived. They wrote to the town hall to highlight "real critical issues", for example related to the problem of the "wild stop" and called for "necessary interventions" defined as "not postponable".These are jobs that must be guaranteed to the most taken "to prevent possible accidents to children - the provision always reads - safe entry to school".With the premise that "the ideal solution" would be to build school streets, the parliamentarian in Piazza Cinecittà has nevertheless put concrete proposals on the table, which have already been examined by three municipal commissions. The proposed interventions range from the arrangement of the sidewalks in front of the San Matteo school, the most peripheral of the area (in Ponte Linari) to the arrangement of parapedonals in via Contaldo Ferrini in Cinecittà Est. There are also proposals for Statuario (via Amantea) and Romanina (via Gregoraci) where it is asked to separate the parking of vehicles from the entrance of pedestrians."This resolution goes well with the addresses of our council and the majority who, since taking office, have placed a great deal of attention on road safety and on that of school buildings - commented the minis mayor Francesco Laddaga - we have put in seven million euros, in the budget of the town hall, for the extraordinary maintenance of the complexes and in the next two years, from the Capitol, another 25 million will arrive, already allocated. These funds are therefore used to improve the safety of students and teachers in our schools and the interventions envisaged in the resolution just approved also fall within this framework ”.
