The new Twenties faucets from Devon & Devon, designed by the Gensler studio, are inspired by the 1920s. Designed for washbasins, sanitary ware, bathtubs and showers, the collection explicitly recalls the simplicity of the shapes, the richness of the materials and the attention to detail from the American Art Déco, which also inspired the design studio for the design of the Holiday and Dove bathtubs."The design inspiration for the Twenties was a study of form and personalization. We wanted to create a form language that had to be timeless. Something that was somewhere between a reference to the Art Deco period, but also something that was contemporary," explains Daniel Stromborg , Gensler's Product Design Director, out.A refined, innovative yet familiar style distinguishes all pieces in the Twenties line, each of which can be fitted with custom materials and finishes and coordinated with all products in the Devon&Devon collections. All elements of the Twenties collection are available in six different finishes: chrome, matt black, nickel polished, 14kt gold, 24kt gold and antique brass. In addition to the finish of the brass pedestals, the handles and tap covers can be customized with beautiful panels of Bianco Carrara or Calacatta Oro marble. The combination of finishes on the base and the handles offers surprising solutions, such as the completely new combination of matt black and Bianco Carrara marble. The collection consists of a solution for installation on the edge of the bathtub, complete with spout, diverter and street handset;a wall set that emphasizes the sculptural lines of the three elements and is ideal for retro-style bathrooms;a minimal washbasin set that reinterprets the classic three-hole composition in a contemporary touch;a shower set with a two- or three-way thermostatic mixer and a flexible street handset. All fields marked with * must be completed.Would you also like to receive our newsletter?|click hereOther industry news:<< Back |Wonen360.nlSign up for our daily newsletter to receive all the latest news directly by email! You're seeing this pop-up because this is your first time visiting our site.If you always see this message, you have disabled your cookies and they will continue to appear.
