Developers recently celebrated the grand opening of Magnolia DUMBO, a 21-story residential building at 160 Front Street in DUMBO, Brooklyn. Designed by Morris Adjmi Architects and developed by RXR Realty, the structure yields 320 rental apartments with marketing led by Douglas Elliman Development Marketing Group. New Line Structures served as the general contractor for the property, which is situated on a full block bound by Front Street to the north, York Street to the south, Bridge Street to the east, and Jay Street to the west.

The tree-lined colonnade is completed, as are the ground-floor frontage and entrances to the edifice. Above is a grid of warehouse-inspired windows surrounded by dark gray bricks and stone panels that subdivide the uniform curtain wall.

One of the commercial tenants about to open is Devoción, a Brooklyn-based coffee roaster, which will occupy 1,400 square feet of the ground level at the southwestern corner of the lot.

The building has a roof height, and stands of a total 21-story residential. The design stood as beautiful exterior appearance, now the property was surpassed vehicle on street: Thanks to Michael Young.

A box with some character, ok.

The proportion of the towers to the base feels odd. I think this would have been a stronger design if one of the towers was 4 white-frames tall instead of having both be 3 white-frames tall.

Great, 660 more cars for area traffic.

Because all the residents will take there cars out at the same time? Likely more like 50 cars on any given day.
