Luxury homes: $1.87M Scottsdale modern farmhouse has barn-style doors

Front courtyards with fountains, linear fireplaces and marble flooring are among the luxurious features in some of this week's most expensive home sales in metropolitan Phoenix.

Zane and Tanya Kiehne paid cash for a mansion in Paradise Valley’s Longtail Run community. Zane Kiehne is co-founder of Ranchers Choice Land Sales Inc., which specializes in the sales of farms, ranches and recreational/hunting properties in New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado and Texas. 

The 8,278-square-foot estate has five bedrooms and seven bathrooms.  

The mansion’s interior has hand-carved vaulted groin ceilings, white marble flooring imported from the Greek Island of Thassos, custom cabinetry, a mahogany-paneled library/office and six fireplaces.

The estate grounds feature a lavish front courtyard with fountains, a separate guest house and a backyard pool, spa and outdoor fireplace.

David and Tina Barr paid cash for this recently completed contemporary-style house in Paradise Valley.

The home comes with wood beam ceilings, custom light fixtures and modern farmhouse design accents that include interior barn-style sliding doors.

TB Properties V, LLC, an Arizona limited liability company, sold the house.

Bengie Molina, a former Major League Baseball catcher and his wife Jamie paid cash for a mansion in Gilbert’s staff-guarded community of Whitewing at Germann Estates.  

The 7,018-square-foot house sits on nearly a half-acre lot and was built in 2018.

The house was sold by Robert Flaherty, as division president of Toll Southwest LLC, general partner of Toll Brothers AZ LP in Scottsdale.
