"The new Laminam headquarters in Milan represents an important change for our company", said Alessandra Stefani, Vice President and Art-director of Laminam, during the inauguration of the new exhibition space - in via Verdi 5 - which took place yesterday, Thursday March 9."A necessary change, in line with the philosophy of our company founded on the principles of flexibility and speed, and in which tradition and innovation are combined with unprecedented results. The opening of the new Laminam plant in Russia is also part of this same perspective - which will be inaugurated on March 27, where the 1000x3000 mm slabs for the architecture sector are produced, in particular for facades ".The Laminam showroom therefore changes its address to be even more efficient and to be able to exhibit an even wider range of products, a collection of slabs with top-of-the-range finishes useful not only for the creation of floors and walls, but also for interior design components. .Precisely in this sense, the creation of ModulTop should be read, a magnificent kitchen island that dominates the entrance area of the showroom, a furnishing solution with a strong presence starting with the fact that, obviously, it is clad in 1620 x Laminam slabs. 3240 mm.The silver veins of the Cava Bianco Statuario Venato Lucidato finish give the monolith an elegant and authoritative appearance, while the minimalist design is combined with latest generation technological solutions.Harmony of pure geometric shapes and refined functional details, ModulTop is an ultra-modern island kitchen that was previewed at the Smart Home fair in Warsaw and which today has found its ideal location within the Milanese space of Laminam. The authors of this extraordinary project are the architect Jakub Wisniewski co-owner of the JMW studio and Tomasz Pietrzak, builder and principal executor of the ModulTop island. Also with them was Łukasz Sałek, from Ebano, distributor of ModulTop."We started from the famous“ Less is more ”principle, by Mies Van Dr Rohe, master of Rationalism, but we also thought about the functional needs of the family", explained architect Wisniewski."ModulTop is in fact an original kitchen island made with great attention to perfection of shape and ease of use. The heart of the project is modern technology through which some minimalist solids are transformed to achieve various functions: a sink and a mixer that disappear flush with the top, a shelf-bar and a totem for the up and down electrical sockets, a cooking area that can be made to measure with an induction element that completely disappears into the top plate. All the appliances can be freely configured in order to respond to the needs of the family ".As for the shape, the island on display is made up of 6 bases 60 cm wide and 128 cm deep, and alternating squared elements and trapezoid elements that can be installed in different ways to create lively solutions. In this case, the island is formed by an oblique module on the left - which supports the sliding bar element, two standard bases and two oblique final bases which give "lightness" to the volume and at the same time create a free area to use the also isolates as a snack table. In addition to the kitchen, different types of ceramic slabs are on display in the new showroom in two sizes: from 1000x3000 mm, with a thickness of 3 and 5.6 mm, for floors and vertical coverings;1620 x3240 mm, with a thickness of 12 mm, for the horizontal planes. The architectural application of a ventilated facade created with 1000 x3000 mm slabs made with the direct gluing system is also installed in the shop space. But in addition to the high technical performance, the Laminam slabs offer a high aesthetic level, given by the range of shades proposed, delicate, shaded or "effect", with the reproduction of the natural textures of marble. In order to fully appreciate the many finishes available, the new Milanese showroom also offers four “slabs”, where the slabs flip out like the pages of a book.
