Rebel Wilson has sold her home in the exclusive Sydney harbourside suburb of Birchgrove after confirming she is moving to London for work.

Although the purchase price has not been confirmed, the actress has previously said on Instagram she was after “serious offers” of more than $A9 million.

The Pitch Perfect star celebrated the sale on Instagram on Monday night, sharing photos of the property along with memories of the home.

“SOLD, thank you everyone for your interest in my Sydney house. Great result all round,” the 42-year-old said on her Instagram stories.

“I’m going to miss this house so much, but hope the new buyers love it as much as I have.”

It’s unsurprising the house, listed only in late March, sold quickly, considering the extensive renovations Rebel put into the home.

It features an exclusive peninsula setting, a lift to all levels, three huge ensuite bedrooms, Harbour Bridge views, an Arabescato marble island kitchen, infinity pool, new jetty, pontoon and smart home automation.

“There’s something special about this house, its location, its vibe, and I am sad to see it go after a meticulous renovation,” Rebel said earlier this month on Instagram.

“I just won’t be using it for the next few years because I will be working overseas and would prefer someone else gets to appreciate it.

“My favourite thing is probably the elevator I put in that gives you views as you go up and down.

“It’s great for a boat owner with its own jetty and moorings.

“Or you can just watch all the boats go by every day – especially at sunset, it’s gorgeous.

“And all the neighbours know what a brilliant street and suburb it is to live in Sydney.”

The post prompted many of Wilson’s famous friends to attest to the grandeur of the home.

“Best house in Sydney!,” actress and TV presenter Carly Steel wrote.

“I can attest!! It’s GORGEOUS!!!!” former tennis player Rennae Stubbs wrote.

“Deposit sent: leave keys under mat x,” singer Amy Shark wrote.

According to the listing, the three-story home was designed by award-winning architect Paul O’Connor.

Rebel has previously confirmed she is relocating to the UK, having purchased another property in London.

“I have bought a place here so I’m moving. Yeah, it’s in London. I love it here,” she told The Sun newspaper.

The Bridesmaids star said she was moving to Britain after landing a role in a new drama, set to be filmed there.

“It’s out later this year. It’s serious - like, really serious.”

Meanwhile, Rebel also owns a five-bedroom, five-bathroom property in Los Angeles.

The Aussie bought the West Hollywood house in 2016 for about $A4 million.

She also has a $A4.17 million “paparazzi proof” apartment in New York’s Tribeca as part of her global portfolio, that she purchased in 2017.
