More than yachts, when we talk about CRN, we talk about masterpieces. It is obvious to call them villas on the water because the content is much more.In fact, CRN, an Ancona shipyard founded in 1963, designs and builds steel and aluminum ships starting from 50 and up to 90 meters, unique 'pieces' made to measure for the owner and characterized by cutting-edge technical and technological solutions.RIO, last 62 meters recently launched, and which will be on display at the Monaco Yacht Show (28 September-1 October), does not deny expectations.Indeed, it is even more surprising. The project was developed by CRN with the collaboration of the Dutch design and architecture studio Omega Architects, who took care of the concept of the exteriors, and of Pulina Exclusive Interiors design, which was entrusted with the interiors. From the very first glance, the RIO project expresses its marine vocation but above all today's trends: large full-height windows join and underline the elegant external architecture of the yacht, allowing constant and direct contact with the sea and flooding the rooms with light. also with games of internal reflections.Outside, large convivial spaces all in connection with the interior. And the external profile of the yacht, despite its 62 meters in length, 11 in beam (the width of the yacht) and four decks, is slender, giving the whole a sporty and dynamic connotation, also thanks to the two stern arches, signed by Frank Laupman, harmonized in the lines that make up the design and which also have the dual function of protecting the bridge and ensuring privacy. The interior layout is designed in a fluid way, above all to ensure an efficient distribution and enhancement of the spaces.A feature not always taken for granted even on board gigayachts. All the numerous and vast internal living areas are connected with the outside and always in the name of natural brightness.Everywhere the space is designed to offer freedom but also privacy even in the open air: the splendid lounge and wellness area in the beach club, the vast spa-pool and cinema area of the Wheelhouse Deck, the different wells and also the sunbathing spa-pool area , also dedicated to fitness and any parties, in the bow of the owner's suite are an example.RIO reflects an evolved and contemporary concept of living.Comfort is ennobled by details selected with extreme care, precious materials and chromatic combinations alternate in harmonious consecutions.Iconic design pieces meet with contemporary accents. The rooms, as requested by the owner, are bright and joyful;white tones predominate but there are strokes of color that evoke the tones of the sea, such as pastel turquoise and the different shades of blue that are found in the finishes, furnishings and textiles in customized textures and which are expertly mixed with lively decorations and exotic for a concept with a tropical flavor. The main essences, American walnut and white lacquered oak worked with slats, chosen respectively for the floors and walls of the entire boat, harmonize perfectly with the colorful and intense notes of the Azul Makauba marble, used in the salons, and those in the shades of green of the Irish Green marble, for the bars in the outdoor areas, light up the rooms with marine-inspired color combinations. In the bathrooms, on the other hand, the tones are attenuated with the Crema d'Orcia and Calacatta Vagli Oro marbles. For the ultimate in luxury, but not ostentation.
